Offerings for Mission-Driven Organizations
Mission-driven organizations are the backbone of changemaking around the world. Most are clear about why they were created, their reasons for operating, and the constituents they serve. Yet, many struggle to engage external stakeholders, such as prospective donors and volunteers, and fail to provide a clear understanding of why their cause deserves support over other groups.
Even the best of organizations might recognize there’s a problem, but don't know how to address it. While many nonprofits turn their focus exclusively towards donor engagement strategies, that’s usually only part of the equation. The Connectors helps mission-driven organizations create better connections with external constituents.

The difference between vision, illusion, and delusion
Visions are inherently aspirational in nature, and it’s important to always keep that spirit of reaching for the stars to help motivate yourself and your team. Anyone trying to challenge the status quo needs to have a vision of something different, even if it’s not clearly defined. But there’s a fine line between selling someone on your vision and creating a false narrative. We'll look closely at your visions, whether they’re formal statements or conversations you’re leading, and make sure that your language remains aspirational while still being authentic.
Cultivating an entrepreneurial mindset and leadership skills
Most organizations reward people for leveraging their managerial skills – whether that’s a reliance on clear and measurable goals, rubrics, or known ways of operating. But innovation and growth can only happen when employees learn both how and when to flex their creative muscles. This workshop teaches you to activate new ways of thinking, resources, and conversations to approach your challenges differently, opening your organization up to a whole new world of possibilities.
Unlocking your superpowers and finding your gaps
Each of us has different skills and talents to contribute to a work environment, project, or idea. And no matter how dedicated you might be to a cause, it’s not realistic – or even wise – for every individual to embody every quality. Sometimes we need to find partners who can balance our abilities and fill in the gaps on missed opportunities. This workshop will help unlock your individual and team’s strongest qualities, uncover what you’re missing, and equip you with strategies for attracting those resources to your organization.
Getting better outcomes from written and verbal communication
Getting someone’s attention or engaging them in an idea requires you to reach out in a way that leaves them feeling positive and wanting to pursue the connection. Whether you’re engaging someone you know or a new hopeful contact, crafting a meaningful and relevant message is crucial for getting their time and discretionary effort. This workshop includes modules on crafting better outreach messages, the difference between casual and disrespectful language, and the emerging role that AI plays in accelerating or decelerating relationships.
Connecting different dots: getting out of tunnel vision
We all can get stuck in our own ways of thinking or bogged down by our limiting beliefs, and it can be hard to look up to find inspiration elsewhere. Sometimes, we’re lucky enough to have the right partners who challenge us and help us think differently. But what if you’re stuck and not sure what to do or how to ask for help? This workshop teaches you how to shift your mindset from being resource constrained to one of abundance and helps you uncover new opportunities for yourself and your organization.
